So What Do You Do?
My particular strenghts lie in the use of the content management system Wordpress, but beyond that I’m proficient with HTML, PHP, CSS and basic Javascript.
There isn’t much I can’t do with Wordpress, and as of yet I haven’t found a job I’ve had to refuse.
Why Should I Hire You?
You should hire me because I’m what you’re looking for. I don’t beat about the bush, I don’t waste your time, I do what I do to the best of my ability in the lowest time possible. I’m professional, and I know how to deal with people. And, perhaps most importantly, I’m used to meeting deadlines.
I will do what you want me to, exactly how you want it done, in the least possible time, with the greatest possible attention to detail.
What Experience Do You Have?
I’ve been active on the internet for the most part of six years now. In the past three, I have been a webmaster, right from the day I registered my very first domain, on the 24th of November 2006. I discovered Wordpress mid-2007, and toyed with it a lot, before bringing this blog to life, at the end of 2007. Since then I’ve been hacking away at it, have used and modified hundreds of themes, before I settled on this one.
I started offering my consulting services with Wordpress in the first half of 2008, primarially through the wp-pro mailing list to begin with, and in the last year and a half have completed hundreds of jobs, from theme management and modification to plugin creation.
As well as my Wordpress experience, I have experience with various hosting control panels, through some work with a now defunked hosting company. It also provided me with client experience, as I worked support for a few months and answered a few hundred tickets.
All in all, I have a lot of experience and it’s continually increasing.
What Does It Cost?
I bill in GBP (£), at a rate of £20-25 per hour. For large jobs, with a large number of hours, this can be lowered.
