Showing Your Akismet Count As Plain Text
This is the first plugin I ever made, and it’s very simple. All it does is take the number of spam comments / trackbacks / whatever that Akismet has caught for you, and turns it into a plain text function that can be called anywhere in a template. I made it because a lot of the themes I’ve used / use don’t really fit in with the design thats on the box normally showing the count.
